ELLISON & AVA...INDIANAPOLIS PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
11.30.2009

I have a friend named Mindi.  We met each other while running track in college and instantly connected.  We became the dearest of friends.  Then she moved to Germany for a couple of years while her husband taught English.  We didn't stay in touch very well because Jeremy and I were in the craziness of planning our own wedding.  However, when they came back into the states they moved to Noblesville...which is where we were moving.  Again, we were instantly reconnected.  They were here for several years until Marcus, Mindi's husband, joined the Navy.  Then they moved to the state of Washington.  What is the point of this rambling, you may ask?  It is always bitter-sweet making friendships.  They are so sweet when you have friends close by, but when life separates you the bitterness of being apart is hard.  This is exactly how Mindi and I's friendship has been.  Yet, regardless of the distance our paths always seem to cross and we always pick up right where we left off.  I had tears in my eyes when looking at these images.  I miss my friend and her precious family so, but am overly thankful that I have moments like these where I can be with them and pick up just like we saw each other yesterday.  Love all of you guys...

One other thing I would like to share about this sweet family is the fact that Marcus, Mindi's husband and Ellison/Ava's dad, is obviously missing from these pictures.  He is currently deployed on the USS Nimitz.  I know that not only Mindi and the girls are anxious for him to be home, but he is as well.  I hope that these pictures narrow their distance...at least for a little bit.  I admire all of them.  Those who fight for our country are not the only ones who sacrifice...their families do as well.  We are thankful for all of you!!!!!!

Enough writing...geesh!  I must be in one of those moods.  ;)  Check out these pictures...they are so much fun and I love them all.  These sweet girls have a very special place in my heart...love them!

They are so cute...love them!

I can't take this little series...they were telling secrets.  Ava, obviously, said something that made Ellison a bit disgusted.  ;)

Their beautiful mom...sorry Mindi, had to post one for Marcus.  ;)

I LOVE this one!!!!

Workin' it...  This is so, so Ellison...

And this is so, so Ava...

Another favorite...

Full of life and full of energy...

There just happened to be a shopping cart there...perfect.

"Sisters, sisters...there were never such devoted sisters..."  :)

They are kinda girly, but kinda not, too...  ;)

Oh, how this one makes me happy...  :)

KATRINA...INDIANAPOLIS SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHY
11.27.2009

I always have so much fun while on a senior session.  I get to see these youthful personalities that are just around the corner from being adults.  I love to hear about their dreams and plans for life after high school.  One of the things I loved about Katrina is the fact that she has a goal list for what is to come.  On top of that, she has one of the sweetest, yet spunkiest personalities ever.  You should have seen some of the crazy things she was willing to do during the session.  I posted several, but could have posted so many more. ;)  I loved getting to know her and am so thankful to have had this opportunity!  Many blessings to you as you prepare for the college years!   Hugs...

Love the next two...

We have several variations of this and they are all entertaining...  ;)

Some play time in the leaves...

These are some of my favorites...loved that she brought her guitar.

BRANDON & MOLLY...INDIANAPOLIS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
11.25.2009

Who would have thought after our freezing cold October we would walk into a wonderfully, mild, beautiful November?  Well, we did and it was perfect.  Molly and Brandon truly had an amazing day...the weather, the people, the flowers-everything.  It is always wonderful to be welcomed with open arms and that was definitely the case for their wedding.  We had so much fun celebrating the two of them and had a blast with those that love them so.  As for Molly and Brandon...they are adorable together.  It is obvious that their relationship goes beyond the wedding day...it is the foundation for many years to come for them.  Thanks for choosing us you two...it was an honor.  Hugs your way!

The bouquets were all beautiful...

Molly made a stunning bride...

The ladybugs were EVERYWHERE!!!  :)

Such fun girls...!

So, we had some Notre Dame fans...this is what they were doing in between pictures...had to document.  ;)

The little ones were so cute and so much fun!

New role for the ringbearer?  Flower petal picker-up'er?

Such a beautiful church...

A favorite, favorite...

Ummm...another favorite, for sure.

Can you guess where Brandon is from?

Brandon was quite impressive with his belly slide...

Instead of a dollar dance, they did this...pin the money on the bride.  First time for that...fun idea!

I guess this "lady" travels among family weddings...  :)

EMILY...INDIANAPOLIS PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
11.20.2009

I had so hoped to have this full post of sweet lil Emily up and going for you tonight.  However, sometimes my plans fail me.  ;)  I know Mommy and Daddy are excited to see pics of their precious "almost" one year old, so I had to share a few before we took off for our last wedding of the season.  ;)  The full post to come soon....enjoy!

Happy birthday to sweet Emily!!!  Love you guys...

**Edited to add:

Emily was as sweet as could be at her one year session.  She gave so many smiles...I could just eat them up.  ;)  This family is very special to our hearts.  When you celebrate with a couple on their wedding day, share in the joys of their new baby, and then, get to watch them grow up every year...you develop a connection with them that is hard to describe.  What a blessing...we love you guys!

Favorite...love it!

Little kisses from mommy and daddy...

She is such a doll baby...love her.

So sweet...love this one.

She was happy throughout the entire session...love her.  :)
