KOBI...GROWING LIKE CRAZY
10.30.2009

You may remember this little guy from his newborn session earlier this year.  Well, to say that he is a growing boy would be an understatement.  ;)  I'm pretty sure that he weighs the same amount as our little Claire...which I love!  Our kiddos weren't overly chubby, so I always fall for the little michelin wrists and chubby legs.  It makes me want to reach through the screen and squeeze him.  :)  Anyway, he has been such a delight to our family and we have loved watching him grow.  My niece, Megan, and I were trying to coordinate a time when we would both be in Ohio (she lives in Florida) to grab a few shots of them.  Thankfully, we made it happen a while back when we happened to be in the same place at the same time.  Love you guys...

Love his little wrists...

The next two are so sweet...

You are beautiful, Meg!  ;)

A session with Kobi wouldn't be complete without some Buckeye gear.  When you're born into our family the assumption is made that you will love the Buckeye's!  ;)

KORTANEK FAMILY...INDIANAPOLIS PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
10.30.2009

Just a few highlights from the Kortanek family session...  Every once in awhile we will get an inquiry for an extended family session.  They tend to work a bit differently because of working with so many people.  It would be hard to be patient and wait your turn doing a regular family session. ;)  However, we still mangage to capture some of those sweet moments shared between the families.  The best part about this session was seeing this family grow.  We did an extended family session with them a few years back.  Oh, how the little ones have grown and they have a few new additions...which was an added bonus.  It was so good to see all of you again...many blessings.

I didn't have to try very hard to get this little guy to smile.  He was such a happy little guy...

I'm pretty sure she would have posed for me all day.  This was her idea...  ;)

KINSLEY TURNS ONE...INDIANAPOLIS PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
10.27.2009

Oh, how I love the little ones...Kinsley was so much fun.  We had a great night for her session even though it was a bit chilly.  However, she took it like a champ and I managed to capture her sweet, little personality.  It made me want to come home and bottle up what is left of Claire's baby/toddler-hood.  I am so thankful for those gentle reminders that these moments are short and sweet...we need to savor them before their gone.

Of course, we love this family.  We shot Kinsley's mom and dad's wedding several years back.  Such an honor to be able to capture this journey of life with them through pictures.  Thank you...love to all 3 of you.

Love this family picture...one of my favorites.

Seriously...how sweet is she??

I guess you could say that Kinsley is a bit of a daddy's girl...

Adore this one...so sweet.

Kinsley truly enjoyed the apple...she would have finished it off if we had let her.

JACK & AMY...ENGAGED
10.26.2009

A few weeks back I had the opportunity to travel to New York City to capture Jack and Amy's engagement session.  You may remember them from the post where Jack proposed through our blog.  ;)  If not, you have to check it out.  A very unique idea all mastered by Jack...loved it.  Anyway, we were honored when they asked us to shoot their wedding and even more excited when they mentioned the idea of their engagement session taking place in NYC.  Of course, I was all for it.  ;)

I have truly enjoyed getting to know the two of them over the past couple of years and just love them to pieces. I already feel like we are old friends.  ;)  It is obvious how much they care and respect one another.  They listen to each other, argue with each other and sometimes make fun of each other, but to say that their love is obvious would be an understatement.  I really could go on and on...but I won't.  You've got some pictures to look at.  ;)

I know you've seen this one, but wanted to show you some of our stops throughout the day.

We enjoyed some good moments at Central Park...lots of them, actually.  You'll see...  ;)

Love, love this one...it makes me happy.

Loved this little area...

I was quite fond of this bridge...and the two people standing on it.  ;)

Love these below...

We met up one last time to grab a few night shots at Times Square.  It was an exhausting day, but so very worth it.  Jack and Amy, thank you so much for letting us capture this time for you...we can't wait until the wedding.  Love to you both...

Now, you might be asking...what's this?  Pictures of another couple?  Confused?  Well, while we were strolling through Central Park Amy said, "Hey!  Is that guy proposing?"  Of course, I was checking out the scenery and not paying a lot of attention to what was going on around me.  As soon as I looked, I knew what was going on.  Then, something inside of me took off towards them.  Crazy person, I know.  ;)  I couldn't help but think...I had a camera...what a special moment for them.  So, I did it...I quickly became the paparazzi attacking this poor couple.  ;)  Somewhere in the middle of their excitement I interrupted them to let them know that I wasn't crazy-crazy...just thought they might like to remember this moment.  So, here you have it...a captured proposal in Central Park.  Loved it!  Who knows...you might see them again as well...only kind of kidding.  ;)  ;)

One of the things I loved about capturing these moments for them...it was real.  Most of these shots were taken before they knew I was there...love it!

JUSTIN & CHRISTINA...INDIANAPOLIS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
10.23.2009

I have been trying to get Justin and Christina on the blog ALL week!  My goodness...  We had 6 sessions from Sun.-Wed...and then my body told me it needed a break and I've been chilling the past couple of days with horrible nausea.  So, here I am today trying to make up for lost time...forgive me.  ;)

As for Justin and Christina...love them!  They are so sweet and so endearing...and so much in love.  They had a few hiccups in their wedding that were out of their control...one being the circle being completely closed down and finding out the week before.  However, they made the most of it leaving them with the perfect day celebrating the two of them.  Everything they chose to do complimented their personalities and lifestyle.  Loved it.  As for their wedding party and families...thumbs up!  They were so much fun to be around and love Justin and Christina so much.  Hugs to the two of you...

The guys' day started out at Red's...

Christina surprised Justin with some cuff links showcasing Belize...their honeymoon get-a-way.  ;)

Christina was loving her Kate Spade's...  ;)

The adorable Kiralee did Christina's make-up...

The exquisite bride...

Love this one...they are so adorable!

They really are this cute...  ;)

Another favorite...

We had several assistants at their wedding...  ;)

Love the Columbia Club...

Love this one with Grandma...

If you haven't figured it out yet...Justin and Christina both live in the D.C. area and work for the government.  I think the lights were turned on just for them.

For more...SLIDESHOW!!!!
