BABY GRANT IS HERE...
09.28.2009

Oh, how I love what I do.  Getting to hold precious little ones who are just days old makes me all happy inside.  Newborns have such sweet expressions...many of which I remember with Gabe and Claire.  These sessions give me a chance to relive the experiences we had with our little ones...nothing better.

Meet precious Grant...he was so sweet and so teeny-tiny.  It is quite evident how much he loves his mommy and daddy already.  The feelings are beyond reciprocated back to him and he is still so new.  I am always amazed at how newborn babies can settle as soon as they are in the arms of their parents.  They just know...such a beautiful thing.  Well, Grant was quite the treat and I look forward to seeing you all soon.  Blessings to the 3 of you...  :)

:)

Their only request...

So beautiful...

Grant's mommy loves this verse.  She was able to find Cara who offers custom canvases (and so much more)...you have to check her out.

We decided to head outdoors...the lighting was wonderful.

One of my favorites...

Sweet, sweet baby...

Such bright eyes...he was quite the poser at this point in the session.

AARON & ANDREA: PART II...LOUISVILLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
09.22.2009

And for Part II...the day couldn't have been any more perfect for Aaron and Andrea.  The location fit their personalities, the details fell right into place and they looked amazing.  What more could you ask for?  We couldn't even complain about the weather this time...  ;)

Andrea was such an exquisite bride...

And, Aaron was not too shabby either...  ;)

Jeremy and I went and scouted some locations before the day got started...loved this building.

So many amazing, run-down locations...we could have shot all day.  Oh, just for the record...she was sitting on a white sheet.  ;)

Andrea is the one who told us about this green wall.  You know me and green...  ;)  It is also Andrea's favorite color, so it worked out well.

Aaron had suits made for all of the guys...loved that idea!

Love this one...

The attempted jumping shot...too funny.

These were some of my favorites of the day...

Love, love this one...

Slideshow...check it out!

AARON & ANDREA: PART 1...LOUISVILLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
09.21.2009

Where do I even begin this post?  First of all, I tried to get everything into one post, but I figured a lot of you would be thinking "not nice" thoughts about our blog when it would load forever slow because of all of the pictures.  ;)  So, I decided to break it into two.  Shooting in new locations always brings a fresh, new perspective to our eyes and we had a lot of fun in the Louisville area...you will see more of that in the next post.  In addition to the new location, we also had the opportunity to witness their Jewish celebration.  It was such an amazing experience...lots of traditions and LOTS of dancing.  We absolutely loved being a part of their day...it was perfect.

As for Aaron and Andrea, all I can say is that they are beyond amazing.  They were so much fun to be around and it was obvious how much their friends and family agreed.  It was a true celebration about two people who love each other more than anything.  We were honored to celebrate with you both...much love.

Andrea's make-up looked amazing...

Love them...

Aaron had to take a picture so he could show the facebook world how beautiful his bride was.  His exact words on fb, "My beautiful bride!  I'm the luckiest man!!!"

The signing of the Ketubah: wedding contract.  Such a beautiful tradition...

He truly adores her...

So does he...

:)

The breaking of the glass...

Time for the Hora..."king and queen of the night."  It is hard to tell, but there are about 5-6 circles going around them.

Up they go...  :)

This is one of my favorite pictures...ever!  Andrea's parents also went up during the Hora (along with Aaron's parents).  Her dad's expression is priceless.

In case you are wondering...they had a photo booth.  ;)

You may remember Kelly from her wedding last year...had to get a picture with two of our brides.  Hugs to you both...

Yes, Jeremy and I got in the photo booth as well...ha!  I enjoyed dressing him up, poor guy.  Oh, how I love this man.  ;)

Getting Ready: Hyatt

Make-up: Bethany Tiesman

Ceremony/Reception: Kye's

Also, I want to thank Austin Warnock for joining us the day of their wedding.  I met Austin a few months back and have enjoyed getting to know him over the past couple of months.  He is building his own photography business and had asked to join us for some of our weddings to gain more experience.  We actually asked him to shoot some film for us (will explain later ;) and his work looks amazing!  Check it out...

THE GREMELSPACHER FAMILY...
09.15.2009

A few years ago, I began capturing life moments for these two darlings:

The following year, I began capturing moments for these two treasures:

And, here I am, this year...capturing another part of the family and meeting even more sweetness...

Isn't it amazing how much word-of-mouth can spread?  We are blessed beyond words...  I have grown to love all three of these families and I love the fact that I have been able to capture their different stages.  I apologize for not posting more...it was a multi-family session...lots of pictures, hard to choose.  ;)  Anyway, I can't wait to see all of you again soon...

THE THOMPSON FAMILY...
09.14.2009

One of my favorite things about capturing family moments is watching them grow over time.  I have had the wonderful opportunity to capture this family ever since the oldest was 8 months, I believe.  We have been with them through each newborn and each birthday.  How blessed are we?  Through all of this family growing we have become dear friends and I am honored, to once again, celebrate another year of their sweet childhood moments.  Love you guys...

So sweet...

They are all so adorable!!!

This is the expression she is known for...so cute!

My guess is that there was a good story being shared here...  ;)

I have a feeling this is the picture that mom will pull out after they have had a big fight.  My guess is that they will have to sit and hug each other while looking at this picture...reminding themselves of how much they love each other.  ;)  Yes, my mom made me and my younger brother sit and hug each other for 5 minutes after fighting...oh, the childhood memories.

One of my many favorites...

This looks like so much fun!  :)

Allie loved having her big sister swing her around...
