Sweet, sweet Alexis...  I must say that Alexis and her mommy get the award for traveling the furthest for a session.  ;)  They currently live in Japan where Alexis' daddy is stationed and happened to be home for a visit this summer.  We had such a beautiful day, of which I was so thankful.  It's kind of hard to reschedule a session for someone who doesn't live in the country.  ;)  

As for Alexis, one word...adorable.  She had such sweet expressions and loves her mommy so.  It is so crazy to me where time goes...Claire was at this stage just 6 months ago.  It makes me want to go get my camera and start capturing Gabe and Claire all day, every day...even more than I already do.  ;)  These little moments come and go so quickly...I want to savor each one.  Thank you so much for letting me capture this time for you...what an honor, what a delight.  Enjoy every day...they change so fast.  Hugs to the two of you...

Every time I begin to write a blog post I'm reminded again how blessed we truly are.  We have the most amazing clients which makes what we do that much more delightful.  And this little family...such a treasure.  The girls were absolutely precious.  We had some good times chasing the ducks, walking here and there and playing in the water puddles.  Thank you for letting me capture a sneak-peek of your every day.  Can't wait to see you again...

The day couldn't have been better...beautiful skies, enchanting location, stunning bride and an anxious groom.  John and Stephanie have been looking forward to this day for quite some time.  After lots of planning and lots of work, they finally saw their dream come to life.  Every detail was finalized by Stephanie with lots of hands from family and friends.  It was perfect in every way.

It didn't take us long to realize how much John and Steph care for one another.  Their love radiates a room...you can feel it just by being in their presence.  Obviously, I have know Steph for many years.  ;)  I know her heart, her spirit...how much she cares for people.  I also know that her heart would join one of similar values...John is that to her.  We look forward to getting to know him more and couldn't be happier for them.  It was such an honor to be a part of your day.  We love you both...

Talk about two adorable, little girls...my goodness.  I had so much fun capturing their innocent, childhood moments.  I have known their mommy and daddy since the track & field years in college...lots and lots of memories!  Sadly enough, this is the first time meeting their little ones (well, except for running into them in the Denver, CO airport when we were heading back from Washington and they from Wyoming--totally random, but I loved it!).  I hope our paths cross even more in the future...maybe even moving closer to us.  ;)  It was so good to see you both again...I've missed you guys!  Love and hugs to you both!

I am always overwhelmed with sweetness when doing a newborn session.  I could just hold that little one for hours and hours.  Every time I'm reminded of Gabe and Claire when they were little...so much expression, yet so dependent.  These little ones are only little for a short time.  Before you know it, they are running, jumping, talking...  These moments long to be held onto forever.  Little Ellie had such a calm demeanor about her.  She only fussed when she was hungry and was good to go for the rest of the session.  Mom and Dad...she is absolutely adorable! Thank you so much for letting me capture these little moments. Congratulations and hugs to all 3 of you...
