What a sweet, sweet couple...I just fell in love with them.  They are currently living in North Carolina, will be getting married here, and then moving to Chicago following the wedding.  Talk about life changes!  However, their session was all about them and much less about everything else going on in their lives right now.  You can see how much they cherish one another in each of these images...and, of course, we didn't want to leave out Duncan, Heather's dog...so he joined us for some pictures.

Amy and Brian had such a beautiful day.  You always take a gamble having an outdoor wedding in Indiana, but the gamble was in their favor the day of their wedding.  It was a bit windy...ok, it was really windy, but you would have never known by the way they handled it.  This was their day...and it was beautiful.  Everything fell into place just like it needed to and made for an amazing setting.  As for Brian and Amy, it was obvious how much they love one another.  It was obvious how much their family and friends loved them.  What an honor to capture their love...congratulations you guys!

The clouds were so dramatic that day...one minute we would have big, fluffy clouds...the next minute it looked like it could rain.

Such a sweet, sweet family...I just love them!  They found out about us from one of our client/friends and was so glad that they came to us...especially since they live about 2 hours away!  :)  I must say that it was well worth the distance.  We got lots of smiles, lots of playful moments, and moments of being completely soaked...literally.  Thank you so much for giving me this treasured opportunity...I look forward to seeing you all again in the future!

And then, we got wet...very wet!  Falls Creek had flooded, so it made for the perfect water puddle.

This is not a great image, but one worth sharing all the same.  I totally thought he was throwing a rock in the water...ummm...no rock--just some flying dirt!  Awesome...sorry mom!  ;)

Oh, how I love this couple...they are so sweet and so endearing!  We had a lot of fun at their session...getting to know each other and hearing about their upcoming plans...and possibly making a few of our own.  ;)  I value this time spent with all of our couples because it truly gives us a chance to get to know them...in an environment that is all about them.  After the short amount of time of being with them, I realized how much fun their wedding day is going to be.  We can't wait to celebrate with you guys in September...

My dear friend, Michelle, and her two kiddos came to visit soon after we returned from Europe.  She wanted some photos documenting this precious time in the life of their family (dad is a track coach and couldn't make it).  I figured I better get these up since she is now due in the next couple of weeks (or sooner)--eek!  :)  Anyway, stay tuned because you will be seeing more of this family that holds a very special place in our hearts...love you guys!
