TIM & JESSI...ENGAGED
05.29.2008

From the moment I met Tim and Jessi I knew that I would like them.  They remind me so much of Jeremy and I when we were dating...it's crazy.  They are such a sweet couple and it is evident how devoted they are to one another.  In all honesty, Tim and Jessi got married last weekend, so their wedding pictures will be shared soon, so stay tuned.  We did their engagement session just before their wedding.  They were finishing up classes at Taylor University (with graduation the day after their session) making it next to impossible to drive down for their engagement session.  However, we fit it in and I am so glad we did.  I truly felt like I knew Tim and Jessi on the day of their wedding...can't wait to share some favorites with you soon.

I love the next two...

The love he has for her is written all over his face...

I didn't know this until I was editing, but I so happened to capture the flag reflection in the window and they were married over Memorial Day weekend...hmmm...

KENDALL TURNS ONE...
05.29.2008

It is hard to believe that lil' miss Kendall is a one year old.  It was a little over a year ago when Kendall's mommy contacted us about doing our "Grow with me" package.  She found out about us through this awesome informational site for moms living in the Indianapolis area.  Click here to check it out.  Anyway, she continues to get cuter and cuter each time I see her.  When you take a child's pictures several times over the course of one year you really begin to get to know her and her personality. Kendall and her family live in the Chicago area now, but I hope that as they come back to visit family they stop by for future sessions.  I feel blessed to have known such a sweet family.

I love this one...

So, big...

JEFF & HEATHER MARRIED AT IU...
05.27.2008

Everything about Jeff and Heather's day was perfect...the weather, the location, the people, the love that Jeff and Heather share...everything.  We truly felt honored to be a part of their day.  The more we got to the know them the more we fell in love with them.  Jeff and Heather got married in Bloomington with their reception taking place on the campus of IU.  They were given permission to take some pictures inside of Assembly Hall...yes, it was a good day.  We had a blast making the rounds on the trolley...and did I mention how fun their wedding party was?...yes, an amazing day.  The best part was watching Jeff and Heather interact...you will see below how far their love for each other goes.  Congratulations to you guys...we can't wait to catch a Cubs game with you!

Such a sweet moment...

Beautiful...

I love their expressions in this one!

Jeff's family is from the Philippines.  They shared some of the Philippino traditions during the ceremony.

Love it...

Woo-hoo!!

Another favorite...

Welcome to Assembly Hall...

Jeff singing to his bride...love it!

So, I went to write Jeff and Heather a quick note in response to their blog love they shared below :) and I came across one of the sweetest notes from their wedding site that Jeff wrote to Heather the day of the wedding.  Just like I said before...it was a perfect day and this just reiterates what I wrote above.  (Jeff & Heather...please forgive me for posting from your blog without asking...:)  Have a wonderful honeymoon in Belize!  Love to you both!

"Beautiful Day-Saturday, May 17, 2008

I woke up around 6:00 (5:00 AM CST) this morning which really isn't out of the ordinary.  For the past couple of days, I've been waking up around this time and couldn't fall back to sleep because I've been thinking about the list of wedding things I needed to get done.  This morning was different.  I didn't think of the list.  I wasn't worry about getting anything done.  I was (and still am) excited about today.

Since I couldn't lay in bed and waste the morning away, I decided to go for a run around downtown Bloomington.  The sun was shining, the air was crisp, it was perfect running weather.  And as I finished up my run, U2's Beautiful Day shuffled onto my iPod.  And all I could think of was/is yes, indeed, it's a Beautiful Day.

Heather-honey, I can't wait to see you today.  I love you!

-Jeff"

BEAU...15 MONTHS
05.20.2008

You may remember this sweet family from the fall who just so happen to be dear friends of ours.  I had a blast with them on this session...from the trees to the dandelions to their imaginary instruments. :)  You will see all of the fun we had below.  Love to you guys!

I love this shot!  They were trying to see if there was any vibration on the tracks...we heard the train, but couldn't figure out what set of tracks it would be on...a sweet father/son moment.

Then the train came...thankfully, not on the tracks we were on. ;)  Do you see the kids waving in the background?

The boys were quite excited until the conductor blew the whistle...Dylan didn't mind, but little Beau...

Love this one...

and this one...

How precious is this?

From there we moved on to blowing dandelions...

and eating some of them. :)

Then, it was Beau's turn...Beau hasn't had a chance to get his one year pictures in yet.  So, here are a few to share.

Playing the drums...

Gathering rocks...

Jamming with the guitar... :)

Enjoying some family-lovin'...

Please excuse our changes with our framing.  We are trying out something different... :)
