FOSTERWELD...
02.28.2009

If you have been to our studio-home then you have seen some of the amazing work of Chris Foster.  Chris happens to be a steel designer out of Indianapolis and has gained quite the name for himself across the world.  On top of being amazing he is also a dear friend of ours.  We got to know Chris and his wife, Melanie, several years back and just love them to death.  We have had the opportunity to cheer each other on and share in the craziness of owning your own business.  ;)

Fosterweld's primary focus is the making of belt buckles...you have to check them out!  They are sold all over the world.  On top of that, Chris makes frames (which we sell :), furniture, mirrors, and he just finished a project on Mass. Ave. downtown Indianapolis...recycling bins.  You will find a lot of his products throughout the Indianapolis area.  We are excited to see what the future holds for them.  Anyway, Chris was needing some updated photos for his site.  We had a lot of fun catching up even though we were freezing. to. death.  ;)

RELIVING 2008...WEDDINGS-PART 2
02.27.2009

Wow!  What an amazing year we had.  As I was putting all of these slideshows together I was reminded of so many wonderful memories.  To all of our amazing clients...thank you, thank you, thank you.  You have all reminded us in different ways that this is not a job for us, but something that allows us to celebrate life with all of you...newborns, children, families, engagements, weddings.  Thank you for allowing us to enter your hearts, your lives, your every day.  We are honored and can't wait for the wonders of 2009.

GABE AND CLAIRE...JUST BECAUSE
02.23.2009

A few weeks back we had two days that were uncommonly warm for February in Indiana.  So, I loaded the kids up into the wagon and we went for a walk.  It truly was like a breath of fresh air for these long winter months.  Yes, I dressed them up for a few pictures, but they didn't mind.  ;)  And, yes, you have seen Claire's outfit before...I had to do some with her outside in it.   They were excited to be out in the open...playing with leaves, grass, whatever they could find.   Aren't they sweet?  :)

RELIVING 2008...WEDDINGS-PART 1
02.20.2009

My apologies for the delay in sharing these with you...better late than never, right?  ;)  I just returned from the WPPI conference in Las Vegas.  Every year I come back with lots of ideas that I can't wait to implement and share with all of you.  On top of that, I enjoy catching up with everyone I have met over the past number of years.  It makes for some great times...  However, now it is time to get moving.  It won't be long before our wedding season is in full swing and I am trying to not overwhelm myself with everything I still want to have completed before that time comes.  So, hold on...there's a lot more to come.  :)

In the meantime, take a few steps back to our wonderful 2008.  You have seen portraits and engagements and it is now time for weddings.  We honestly have worked with the most wonderful couples.  I love all of them!  Each wedding had moments that will be cherished in our hearts forever...from tears to laughter, from anxious spirits to pure excitement.  All were moments that we were entrusted to capture and we are so thankful for the opportunity.

Stay tuned for the next segment of our weddings from 2008.  As you know, I  struggle with narrowing the pictures down.  So, I decided to break them up into two slideshows.  I have to admit that they are in no particular order...a bit random, to be precise...but here they are nonetheless.  Enjoy!

BABY KOBI IS HERE...
02.14.2009

New life is such a beautiful thing especially when it includes someone dear to your heart.  My niece (yes, we are a bit closer in age) just had her first baby and it was so much fun celebrating with them.  Little Kobi couldn't be more precious, more beautiful, more handsome...  It brought tears to my eyes watching someone I use to boss around and be my little shadow turn into an unbelievable mommy.  We love you Meg, Ray and Kobi!  We couldn't be more happier for you both and look forward to going this amazing journey with you.

Absolutely beautiful...

Best friends already...and if you are wondering if they are Buckeye fans just wait until you see Kobi's room.  ;)

Loving this one!

Want to see a few more?  Click here for a SLIDESHOW!!!!!  In the slideshow, you will notice a random picture of some trees.  A couple of days before we got to Ohio they suffered from a crazy, ice storm.  I have never seen so much ice.  Thankfully, we were able to make it there...and it made for beautiful scenery.
