I can hardly believe that Kierstin is almost 4 years old. I remember capturing those precious moments when she was just a newborn and all the years in between.  And, here she is, full of personality and quite the girlie-girl.  I had so much fun just watching and capturing these moments of who she is right now.  She is such a doll...can't wait to do it again!  Hugs to all 3 of you...  

The light was crazy in this park...bright and full of sun one minute, dark with lots of shade the next.  I had fun with these.  They almost look like they are several different sessions in one.  This one below...I love!

It is hard to believe that Halle is a one year old!  It seems as though I blink and another year passes.  Halle is absolutely precious!  I couldn't believe how much she smiled through the entire session.  If only I could get Claire to do the same. ;)  She made my job super easy which made for precious photos.  Halle...we love having you in our family!  Can't wait to see what this new year holds for you!  Love you, sweet girl!

I wasn't kidding about her smiles...

Well, he actually turned one a few months back, but the midwest winters aren't always the best time to do outdoor sessions with little ones. ;) So, while I was home a few weeks back I set up a time to help out some Ohio friends who are getting their businesses up and going.  Kobi happened to be our little subject and he was so much fun...full of smiles!  I love this sweet boy!

It was a bright-sunshiny day!

As much as I love living in Indiana there is something about the rolling hills of southern Ohio.  My friend, Tara, lives on their family-owned apple orchard.  The property is absolutely beautiful...

He just melts my heart...

I apologize for the inconvenience over the weekend and today while our sites were down.  We were at the mercy of the companies we work with to fix the issues we were having with our host.  Thankfully, we are up and running again... ;)

This sweet little session makes me want to return to my childhood...tea parties, eating cupcakes, running, jumping and playing with friends.  There is nothing better than this and I am so excited to have been able to capture these moments below--two girls who turned two...sweet moments.  

Lil Jordan has grown so much since the very first time I met her at just two weeks of age.  It has been so much fun to capture her at every milestone...what special treasures.  Not only do I get to capture Jordan and her family on occasion, but the beautiful friendship that has developed with her mom and I has made this time even more precious.  When Jenni contacted me, we were both pregnant with our second child and we were both having girls.  So, Claire and Jordan are just a few months apart in age.  Over the past two years we have watched our girls become little friends while our own friendship was blooming.  I can't begin to tell you the blessing they have been to our family.  I truly believe that God places people in your lives at just the right time.  This family was that for us...friendship, support, offering to keep Claire one day a week to help with the workload, and so much more.  We love you guys...

Sweet, little friends...

We couldn't have had a better day in March...thank you Indiana for giving us such a beatutiful start to spring.

Ummm...some of you have seen this on facebook.  I can't get enough of it.  There was no planning in this shot...just them being them.  Love it!

Next, came the jumping...this was one of the cutest things ever.  I'm pretty sure Claire could take after her mom and be a high jumper one day...  ;)

Meet Grace.  She has had quite the journey in her short little life.  She came into this world at 26 weeks weighing a mere 2lbs 13oz.  Her struggles were noticed in the womb as an omphalocele and it was later discovered that she had Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome.  Even though she has experienced these few hiccups in her life, they haven't gotten her down.  She is still a happy, full of energy, 16 month old who is loving life.  I had so much fun getting to know her during the session.  She is so sweet...I could just eat her up.  I mean...seriously, look at her! ;)

This was one of the most precious moments ever!  Grace is quite the fan of Elmo and he made quite a few appearances during her session.  Well, during one of the songs she looked over at her daddy as if to say, "Daddy, Elmo is SO cool!!"  It truly was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen.

This was the result of that little moment...absolutely precious!

During their session, we talked for a bit about the journey that Grace has been on.  It is completely amazing how we all adapt to situations that are out of our control.  Obviously, this wasn't what they envisioned parenting to be nor was it the life they envisioned for their sweet Grace, but to them it's their life...it's perfect--Grace is perfect.  The best part is that Grace doesn't know life to be any different...she is happy, full of personality and so much fun to be around.  The pictures below describes their lives...perfection.
