BRAD & BETH...ENGAGED!
08.23.2010

This will be a session I remember for a long, long time!  We had everything from crazy mosquitoes, hot weather, random things happening at the IMA pond (Brad and Beth know what I'm talking about ;),  baseball, piggy-back rides, cradle-holds (well, kind of), and running through sprinklers.  We even met early in the morning trying to prevent the first 2 things from happening, but we overcame that by making it work for us.

Brad and Beth were as sweet and endearing as they were fun and full of life.  I loved watching them together and had many good laughs throughout their session.  I can't wait until next summer...it's gonna be a beautiful day!  Hugs to you both!!!

Love this one...

Brad...you crack me up! ;)

Some baseball fun that...

...brought on this. ;)

These next 2 are my favorites...couldn't decide.

Love their jumping abilties...

At the end of the session, we were all drenched--thank you Indiana summers.  As we were walking back to our cars, we saw the sprinklers and we all knew what needed to happen.  And, it did...

This series...I laugh every time I look at it.  Brad got pelted with the sprinkler...funniest thing ever!

JASON & ERICA...ENGAGED
06.21.2010

We had the most beautiful day for Jason and Erica's session...sunny skies, warm weather and little wind (that's a big deal for Chicago ;).  And, if it couldn't get any better, we had so much fun with these two.  They are super sweet and were willing to laugh at the random things that came out of my mouth.  If you've been with me for a session or wedding, you know. ;)  In all reality, I love the connection that was made between all of us and am so looking forward to their wedding.  It will be amazing...  Hugs to you both!

Couldn't help it...liked this one in color and b/w.

Erica...you are beautiful (and I am still amazed at how much you look like my cousin-crazy)!

I absolutely love this one...

Love this...

Absolute favorite...

JOHN & MAUREEN...ENGAGED!
06.18.2010

One of the million things I love about engagement sessions is watching our couples interact.  Every love that is shared is different and beautiful in it's own way...and we get to capture it for them.  Years from now they will look back at these images and think about their relationship at that time.  They will realize that the love is still there, but the deepness is even richer.  Such an awesome thing to be a part of...

As for John and Maureen, they are wonderful in every way.  They have the kindest of hearts and are as sweet as can be.  We can't wait to celebrate with you both!  Hugs to you...

I love it!  It was windy (surprise), chilly and very sunny!  The water and skyline, however, was beautiful.

I love this one...

Hello Chicago!

John and Maureen are somewhere in this picture, but I had to share the skyline.  Couldn't resist...

This place holds a special place for them...this is where they met.  They still visit frequently...I can see why--great food!

One last stop...their place.  We had to get one with Celtie!

JASON & KENDRA...ENGAGED
06.02.2010

I can't believe that Jason Stephens is getting married! ;)  We have known Jason and his family for a good number of years now.  Sadly enough, I can say that I knew him when he started high school.  We won't talk about how that ages me. ;)  Since that time, his family has become like family to  us and we are overly joyed to be able to capture this special time for Jason and his beautiful bride-to-be, Kendra.

These two are precious...plain and simple.  I just love how well they compliment one another.  Kendra is as sweet as can be and Jason absolutely adores her.  It doesn't get much better than this.  Enjoy these two love birds and stay tuned because there will be more of them to come soon.

I love how contagious Kendra's laugh is...love it!

I found a random area along the side of the road that was filled with flowers...thank you, Indiana!

Kendra...you are adorable!

Another favorite...who am I kidding?  Yes, these are all favorites. ;)

After we took the image above, Jason and Kendra went to change into another outfit.  Within minutes, we went from a sunny evening into an overcast-no-light-anymore evening.  These next few images required us to move quickly and take advantage of the little light that was left.  It was worth the hike through the tall grass and the high iso's to get these (thankful for that 5d/mark ii)  ;)

NATHAN & REBEKAH...PART 2
05.14.2010

You may remember this sweet couple from their session last fall.  Well, they had lots of fun ideas for their engagement session and knew that this was the one time in their life where the pictures were truly all about them.  The first session took place at the Oliver Winery and IU's campus.  They knew they really wanted to do a carriage ride, as well, but the cooler temperatures last fall prevented us from getting it done at the same time.  So, they decided to add on another little session to get that carriage ride in...such a fun idea!  You will be seeing more of them soon...their wedding is just around the corner!!!  ;)

Love and hugs to you both!  Can't wait for June!

Let me just start off by saying...I love all of these!  The majority of these were done riding the carriage...they worked that small little place well.  Love it!

I promise their feet are really there!!! ;)  That situation will be fixed soon...

This was how our session ended...last minute decision that was so very worth it!

Having a bit of fun with the driver...of course, he didn't know! ;)
