JOHN & ALLYSON...MARRIED
09.05.2008

Every time I think back to a wedding, I am always amazed at the wonderful people we have the opportunity to work with.  I can't say enough how blessed we are to work with such wonderful couples, their families and friends.  As I ponder John and Allyson's day, I think of love, laughter, tears of joy, and down-right silliness.  All of these things made for such an amazing day.

From the time we met John and Allyson for their engagement session, I knew that we were going to laugh a lot at their wedding.  We truly fell in love with them as individuals and the love they share for each other.  Thank you, thank you for letting us celebrate with you...it truly was an honor.  Love to you both...

I love this shot...this truly was the energy felt throughout the day.

Notice her dad in the background looking at her...he was so sweet the entire day.

Allyson was such a beautiful bride...

I loved these girls!

Love it...

Okay, they get the medal for truly working it out.  I told them to laugh and talk to each other...the dialogue was hilarious!

The first looks...

The wedding party still make me laugh as I am typing this out...

Favorite...

I love the next two...

Talk about an impressive first dance...the guests loved it!

So, I know that they are facing the wrong way, but check out the brother's of John & Allyson on the right...hilarious!

This one truly melts my heart...

I hold up my camera to get a shot and this is what I get. :)

And, of course, we had the pleasure of working with:

SWEET BABY ALLIE IS HERE...
09.02.2008

It is always fun to watch our friends interact with their new precious bundles.  As you may remember, Jennifer and Jason started out as our portrait clients and have since then become very dear friends of ours.  We just love them!  I admire how they have brought 3 beauties into this world...under the age of 3.  That is quite impressive if I do say so myself. :)

Well, lil' Allie was quite ready for the camera.  She just laid there and let me move her all around.  She is such a beautiful baby...I can't wait to watch her grow.  Congratulations you guys...love you!

Love this one...

She was even willing to smile for the camera. ;)

Taylor is quite proud of her little sister.

A FEW UPDATES...
08.31.2008

First of all, I trust that everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend. :)  Secondly, it has been quite some time since I have shared any pictures of Gabe and Claire.  We have had quite the busy summer and time has gotten away from me.  I hope you enjoy seeing a little bit of what we get to see every day.  Jeremy and I always talk about how blessed we are to have two sweet, beautiful children...we may be biased, but look at them. :)  Gabe has so much fun making Claire laugh and has had quite the "growing up" summer.  Jeremy and I are always amazed at the things he says and does. It is so cute watching him move into this new stage of his life.  As for Claire, talk about a busy couple of weeks.  She has had two teeth surface, crawling and pulling herself up is her new thing.  It seems like only yesterday that they were both babies and here they are growing and changing before our eyes...we are so blessed.

Gabe and Claire can't get enough of each other.

As I mentioned above, Claire has had a busy couple of weeks.  These pictures were taken quite close to bedtime and with all of her teeth action she hasn't been feeling well which explains her solemn, docile expression.

I can't believe how big he is!

And, thirdly...I wanted to share a couple of things with you.  First of all, for our portrait clients (current and those of you who are considering setting up a session :)...I will be hosting a Matilda Jane trunk show this Wednesday evening, Sept. 3 from 7-9 pm.  We will be giving away some awesome prizes such as a session fee, print credits, discounts and more.  The Matilda Jane clothing line is absolutley adorable, so come and see if for yourselves.  The other reason for hosting this show is to share with you a bit of what we have been up to.  We now have a viewing room that will allow our clients to view their pictures on a big screen and receive guidance in regards to placing orders and the products we offer.  This will be something that begins in 2009, so feel free to come and get an early preview.  If you are planning to attend, please send us a quick rsvp email and I will give you the extra details.  Hope to see you!

Last, but certainly not least...for our brides.  I have come across this amazing site on several different occasions that has recommended wedding vendors for all over the United States.  So, even if your wedding is not taking place in Indiana you should check it out.  They have an entire library of recommendations to help guide you.  Also, I have some other local vendors that we highly recommend, so feel free to contact us if you are in need. :)  A big thanks to Ami and Rebekah for reaching out and providing a service to help guide you as you plan for your amazing day!

MARK & JESSICA...MARRIED
08.27.2008

What an amazing day...from start to finish.  Every detail was thought out, every idea was in place, the weather couldn't have been better, Jessica and Mark couldn't have been more beautiful...I could go on and on.  After their engagement session, I knew we were going to have a blast with them on their wedding day and that it was.  It wasn't just about the beautiful venue, the gorgeous couple or the excellent weather...it was about the love that they have shared and will continue to share as they start this wonderful journey together.  They are sweet individuals, but together they are so much more.  Thanks for letting us celebrate with you...much love...
